It mainly diffuses and redirects light to reduce glare. You’ll still have plenty of brightness, but the light feels less harsh and more comfortable in the room.

Aim the half shade toward the glare zone (usually toward your couch, bed, TV area, or desk). This creates a more comfortable light angle and reduces eye-level glare.

It’s designed to be removable. For best results, peel slowly from one side. Always test on a small area first if your trim has a delicate finish.

Turn the light off, clean the trim (remove dust), peel the adhesive backing, stick the diffuser to the trim, press firmly for 15–20 seconds, and aim it toward the glare.
